Hello and welcome to the Happy Hedgehogs of Little Digmoor Primary school!
My name is Miss Heaton and I am the class teacher of Reception and Nursery. This is my third year at Little Digmoor and I am proud to be a member of such a supportive and caring team. We pride ourselves in giving your children the very best start to their school life by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment in which to play and learn.
Hedgehogs learn through play (continuous provision) and we learn through half termly topics which are based upon the children's interests. This half term our topic is 'Under the Sea'. We have been learning all about sea creatures and have been fortunate enough to visit The SeaLife Centre in Manchester.
Hedgehogs work together with Hoglets to form an Early Years Unit. We are very good at taking care of our baby Hoglets! Parents and Carers are welcomed into our EYFS Unit at any time, if you would like to visit our Early Years please make an appointment at the office with Miss Mulligan or Miss Heaton.
Happy Hedgehogs are looked after by our very experienced Early Years staff: Miss Heaton (class teacher) and Ms. Corvan (Teaching Assistant).
