Busy, Busy, Busy!
Wow! It has been a 'jam packed' week at Little Digmoor this week! Firstly, on Tuesday, Hedgehogs visited the Botanic Gardens in Southport. They wrapped up warm and had lots of fun collecting Autumn leaves, climbing trees, and jumping in muddy puddles!
On Thursday Fieldmice visited Tesco, in Burscough, as part of their 'Farm to Fork' trail. They learnt all about how cheese was made, visited the freezers, and had lots of fun tasting a variety of foods. Meanwhile, some of Foxes visited the DW Stadium in Wigan, to take part in their 'Barney and Echo' day, they talked about E-Safety, got the opportunity to walk a robot, and some children were even able to dress up! Dima made a fantastic penguin!
Also throughout Thursday, Early Years held an Autumn themed 'Stay and Play' session and the children enjoyed making playdough Hedgehogs, rolling conkers, and using shapes to make pumpkin faces, all with help from their grown ups.
We managed to take lots of pictures and videos throughout this week, and these are available to see on our Facebook page. If you have an Instagram account, please follow us on @littledigmoor and keep up to date with our school adventures!
