Today we celebrate the Harvest Festival by attending Little Digmoor Church for a service led by Reverend Rachel. In order to prepare for this the children have been learning all about Harvest and why it is important to give thanks to God and all of the people who help to grow and provide food for us.
The children in school have been practising their singing and Y1/2 wrote a short poem. Further up the school, Logan and Chloe composed their own Harvest prayers and this morning they read them out in Church. You can find a video of this on our school Facebook page.
Many thanks to Reverand Rachel for inviting us to attend Church and as always a very big thank you to all families that attended. We received a fantastic turn out! Have a fantastic half term, and we’ll see you back at School on Monday 29th October when we will be preparing to celebrate Halloween!
