This week has been a very exciting week for Little Digmoor! On Monday, Early Years had a ‘Mad Hatter’s tea party’ to conclude their ‘Alice in Wonderland’ topic. The children dressed up as their favourite character and had a picnic outside on the grass, followed by party games.
Foxes also went to Burscough canal on Monday, they picked a great day for the weather!
On Tuesday, Early Years took part in our traditional Easter Bonnet parade – they looked very cute! Thank you to everyone who created an Easter Bonnet, and to those parents who came to view the parade.
Our 3rd Inter House afternoon was held on Wednesday, the school split into 3 group activities, playing hockey, making ice cream and a fun quiz. Well done to Swift Fold who took the trophy this half term.
As part our Easter celebrations, the children went to Church on Thursday morning to listen to a service held by Reverend Barbara. As always, the children behaved fantastically, and really took on board the true meaning of Easter.
On Thursday afternoon, Fieldmice had a ‘Magical Maths’ party to celebrate all of their hard work this term. The children enjoyed participating in lots of Maths games, and were pleased to have their parents attend.
Friday morning we celebrated our Wise Owls for this half term. Well done to Arabella, Airide, Nina, Robert and Maddy, who have worked incredibly hard this half term.
Once again, thank you for your continued support towards the school. Have a lovely Easter break and we will see you back at school on Tuesday 18th April.
