A warm welcome to the Foxes’ Class (year 6) where the class teacher is Mr Webb.

Our year 6 children play such a pivotal role in promoting our school values and therefore are role models for the rest of the children in our school.  They have a responsibility to represent the school in the best possible way through their learning, activities in and out of school, visits and competitions.

Throughout year 6, some children are selected to become school ambassadors where they play a very important role in promoting and driving our school forwards.

We encourage children to be organised and take responsibility for their own learning. They are able to work independently and with their peers to develop curiosity and critical thinking skills in an enjoyable learning environment.

Preparation for the transition to high school is another key element that we continuously prepare the children for.

Key notes:

Swimming takes place on Thursdays – please ensure the correct kit is brought to school.

Homework

Children are to read regularly, complete their spelling practise on Spell Shed and keep working on their times tables and other number facts either on ‘TT Rockstars’ or ‘Hit the Button’.

If you have any questions or enquiries about your child’s learning, please don’t hesitate to contact myself via Class Dojos or the school office.

Mr C Webb
