School Day
Our school day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.15pm. Registration is from 8.45am to 9.00am.
Morning playtimes
At 10.15am, children in Y1 and Y2 have a break until 10:30am.
At 10.30 am children in Y3 to Y6 have a break until 10:45am.
Lunch
Children in EYFS have their lunch at 11.45 pm to 12.45 pm. Children in KS1 and KS2 have their lunch at 12pm until 1pm.
Assemblies
We have assemblies each day at Little Digmoor. On Monday we have a music assembly. Tuesday's assembly focuses on our 'Pupils Voice' and is ran by our School and Eco Council. On Wednesday, KS2 have a themed assembly as do EYFS and KS1 on a Thursday. On Friday mornings, we hold a celebration assembly at 8.55am to which parents are invited.
Drop-off and collection
Pupils are dropped off at the front of school at 8:45 am, here they walk to the back playground where they line up with their classes before being escorted into school by their class teacher. EYFS enter school through the front entrance at 8.45 am. At the end of the day, EYFS and KS1 are collected from the front of school at 3:15 pm, whilst KS2 pupils are collected from the top of school. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.
Getting to school
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.
