Headteacher’s welcome

Welcome to Little Digmoor Primary School (with nursery).

We pride ourselves on understanding each child as an individual and knowing exactly what motivates them.  We have high expectations and will try every approach to help everyone to thrive and succeed.  Children will leave knowing that they have at least one 'stand out' talent and feel fully competent and confident in preparation for high school.

We are a single form entry school, set within copious grounds, boasting two playgrounds and backed by wild flowers and woodland. Our rich curriculum includes creative and wide ranging opportunities, supported by numerous educational trips. We are lucky to have two minibuses and be within easy reach of historical cities and stunning countryside.

For a tour of school please don't hesitate to call the school office on 01695 724539 and I will proudly lead you around our vibrant, happy and caring school where children are firmly at the heart of everything we do.

Mr Storch

We have put together a quick snapshot of life at Little Digmoor Primary. We have just introduced a new school motto which is 'Dig Deep, Digmoor'. This fits with our focus on resilience and ambition.

A welcome from our Pupil Voice Ambassador

Hello everyone,

My name is Rezija and I am the school council ambassador. People who want to add something special to our school or renew something which is old can always ask me. Then I will tell someone and raise it in our meetings. Ideas will always be appreciated.

A welcome from our Eco Ambassador

Hello,

I'm Lydia and I help lead all things Eco related. We do lots of planting, checking for safety hazards and looking out for how we can help small creatures and the environment. I am in Year 6 and I work with many other ambassadors. I hope your child will enjoy our school and I will always be happy to help.

Bye, see you soon!

A welcome from our Playground Ambassador

Hello,

My name is Nathan and I am the playground ambassador. My job is to help make things more fun. At this moment, with the help of Mr Storch, I am trying to re-launch our second playground with a variety of large scale toys and equipment. If anything goes wrong, please do not hesitate to inform me (Nathan) or Laura (Year 6) or Mr Storch.

From Nathan

Little Digmoor Curriculum

At Little Digmoor, we have designed an ambitious, broad and balanced curriculum which, from the very outset, aims to cultivate curiosity and spark imagination. It is our intention to inspire our community of learners and promote a lifelong love of learning.

Our nurturing approach ensures that the curriculum is fully inclusive and we believe that there are no barriers to what a child can achieve; teachers are committed to adapting lessons so that every child can enjoy success

Our Nursery

At Little Digmoor we currently offer free all-day places for children aged 3 and 4 years old. Children can start our Nursery on the day after their 3rd birthday. We currently have availability in our Nursery. For more information or to arrange a visit please contact Miss Berry (our Nursery leader) or Ms Houldsworth on 01695 724539.
