Early Help

We all experience challenges at different times in our lives, and accessing the right support at the right time can make a significant difference. Early support can often prevent a small concern from developing into a more serious difficulty.

At school, families can access a range of Early Help services and there are some valuable agencies and professionals that can also help.

Early Help support may include:

  • Parenting support
  • Play and activity groups
  • Emotional health and wellbeing support
  • Communication and language support
  • Signposting to specialist services

By providing support as soon as concerns arise, Early Help can promote positive outcomes for children and families. It helps children to feel safe, secure and supported, strengthens family relationships, and equips young people with the skills and resilience they need for the future.

Early Help is available to parents, carers, children and whole families. The service is entirely voluntary and designed to work alongside families to identify strengths, address challenges and achieve positive outcomes.

If you feel that Early Help could benefit your family, or if you would like further information, please contact the school and ask to speak with Mrs Hardwick or Miss Schofield, who will be happy to discuss the support available.
